PARTY CANCELLATION

This weekend I was thinking of hosting a party with some couples and a select group of single guys just for the heck of it. I had the space for the weekend so why not. That turned out to be a pain in the ass. (Dunno how you do it Big Dee lol) I got lots of maybes and non-committals saying they will confirm the day of. Others had inquisitions on who was gonna be there, and can they see pics of the guys and other couples… how do I know them etc. (not bad questions, I just don’t have the patience to do it every time someone calls) Then I realized, this was becoming a project and do I really want to be house monitor. It’s not like I needed the pussy. The more I thought about it, the more I despised doing it. So I said fuck it I'll just chill this weekend and I called all the potential couples and effectually cancelled the party. As soon as I did that… like Murphy law all of a sudden folks came out of the woodworks and wanted to come to the party, cuz their other plans for the weekend fell through. But by then it was too late. Cancellations were already sent out. One couple in particular had wanted to see me for a long time. We were trying to make plans to hook up the week before. I had met them at another party a year ago. Since my party was cancelled they invited me to their place, which was about 2 hours from me. Since it was a 2-hour drive with traffic longer they invited me to spend the night.

They were very gracious. They gave me a tour of their beautiful home n prepared a wonderful steak dinner on their patio.
